Days of Solitude and Silence - 6 of them spread through the year

Aquinas has a place dedicated to solitude and silence situated on the Colo River about 75 minutes from the heart of Sydney. We call that place "Nazareth" to remind us of the place where Jesus spent much of his life being prepared for his ministry.
Six times each year we take small groups there for the day. When we arrive, there is a little time for settling in then we begin the day with a joint meditation and some input on a theme. Participants are then invited to spend several hhours alone on the 63 acre property. We gather at 2.30pm and celebrate Eucharist, have a cuppa and return to the city by 5pm.
Tea and coffee is provided. Participants are invited to bring a sandwich or make it a day of fasting.
We meet together at 7.30am at 141 Harrington Street. Marie and Michael take up to 4 people in each car and drive straight to "Nazareth." We aim to be back to Harrington Street by 5pm.
