FAQ
- Do I need to be a Catholic to attend Aquinas courses?
- Do I need to believe in God to attend Aquinas courses?
- Do I need to buy notes and books to participate in the courses?
- What if I cannot afford to pay the fees?
1 Do I need to be a Catholic to attend Aquinas courses?
No
2 Do I need to believe in God to attend Aquinas courses?
No. Aquinas welcomes all those who sincerely seek the True, the Good, the Beautiful and the One.
3 Do I need to buy notes and books to participate in the courses?
Some courses have group work and you will generally need to buy a reader for that. Sometimes extensive notes pertaining to the course are for sale. Most presenters give handouts free of charge. If there are a large number of handouts, Aquinas invites participants to offer a coin donation to cover the costs of photocopying.
4 What if I cannot afford to pay the fees?
Aquinas charges relatively small fees for all courses and all participants are expected to pay those fees. It is our policy, however, that no one will be excluded simply because he/she cannot afford to pay those fees. (There are instances – such as group work – where participants must pay the full fees, no exceptions are made.) Aquinas does invite those who cannot afford to pay the full fee to make a donation towards the costs of mounting the course.
