Barbara Campbell
Barbara is a practicing artist who has had 15 solo exhibitions. Born in the United States, she has lived in South America, Asia and Europe; since 1992 she has lived in Sydney and travels internationally each year. In the 1970s and 1980s she lectured on Art History and Philosophy at the Canberra School of Art, now part of the ANU.
Bernie McGrath, OSB
Bernie McGrath is a Benedictine, a member of the community in Arcadia, NSW. Bernie has been teaching Sacred Scripture for more than 20 years.
Brian Beggs FMS, BA, Dip Ed, MA, BD, MST
Brian is a Marist Brother. After many years in schools, he has embarked on a study of Sacred Scripture. He is on the verge of completing his doctorate.
Dr Robert Tilley
Robert is a graduate of Sydney University and is well known in adult education circles in Sydney for his brilliant teaching of literature.
Marie Biddle RSJ MA MTh
Marie has served on the Provincial Leadership Team for the Sisters of St Joseph (NSW). She has worked in the field of Human and Christian Life Formation with adults for more than 20 years. She is currently Co-ordinator of Spirituality Programs at Aquinas.
Michael Horsburgh
Associate Professor Michael Horsburgh retired from the University of Sydney in 1999; he holds honorary appointments in two departments of that university and the School of Theology at Charles Sturt University. While at Sydney, Michael was Head of the Dept of Social Work, Social Policy and Sociology and, for a time, the School of Studies in Religion. He is currently Chairperson of the Academic Board of the Sydney College of Divinity and a long-serving member of the Commonwealth Government’s Social Security Appeals Tribunal. He regularly preaches at St James Anglican Church, where he is a Diocesan Lay Reader.
Michael Whelan SM, PhD
Michael is former President of Sydney College of Divinity, former Principal of Catholic Theological Union at Hunters Hill. He is currently Principal of Aquinas Academy. Michael has published three books in the field of spirituality.
Professor James Franklin
Jim’s primary field is mathematics. However he has a well established name in Australia as a professional philosopher and has published books and articles in this field. He is also a former student of the Aquinas Academy.
Sheik Mansour Leghaei
Sheikh Mansour is a specialist in Islamic Theosophy. He teaches at the ImamHusain Islamic Centre in Earlwood.
Virginia Bourke RSJ BTh
Virginia has been involved in adult education in the faith for a number of years, especially at the Julian Tennyson Woods Educational Centre in Lochinvar NSW. She has also served as leader of her congregation.
